Out of curiosity, I Googled my name to see what was out there in cyber space. I’ve done this in the past a few times with very little results, but this time I found a lot of stuff. Maybe the word is getting out there that Ardell is taking over the world famous a nut case interesting?
Starting with a shorten version of my name, I found the following:
- Page 1
- My name listed on a Jordan (.jo) domain whois
- A picture of my drunken days at college (I thought I buried all those?)
- Page 3
- My name listed on the LTTG website as the leader of the GPS ministry
- Page 4
- A post on an online family genealogy forum I made several years back
Now, same search engine but with the longer version of my name:
- Page 1
- The LTTG website
- The family genealogy forum post
- An .EE (Estonia) domain whois
- The transcript of Moyer’s On America “Is God Green?” TV show quoting me
My quote is even more meaningful now then in 2006:
"Normally in the past I've voted one party. I've actually taken a step back and looking at the new elections coming up. I have to stop and say well, I can't just vote straight party. I've got to actually – there's a broader issue at stake."
- [@more@]Page 2
- The 41 website listing me as an alumni
Now as we all know, Google isn’t the only search engine (just the best). So I decided to try that small engine called Yahoo. Starting the same way with the short version of my name, I found:
- Nothing
Hmmm….. maybe this proves my side remarks?
Not to give up, I tried the fuller version:
- Page 1
- LTTG website
- My Amazon wish list
- An old missions article that I wrote for Latin America Missions
- I’m going to post it here later on… so no link right now

- I’m going to post it here later on… so no link right now
- Page 2
- The class syllabus from a Micro-enterprise class I help teach at LU
- Page 3
- The Moyer’s transcript
- Page 4
- An .EE (Estonia) domain whois
- Page 5
- An article about our 2004 trip to the Philippians on my church’s website
- Page 6
- The family genealogy forum post
I guess I will have to eat some crow…
Yahoo did find some things that Google didn’t. sigh
The good news is that I didn’t find any criminal records, warrants or other wise harmful items. (if you don’t count that one picture….)
LOL! LOL! That picture is hilarious!
